Linda Frederiksen
Southeast Region
 Linda was named the Executive Director in 2004 at MEDIC EMS in Davenport, formerly serving as this agency’s Quality/Education Coordinator since 1995.  A registered nurse and nationally registered paramedic, Linda has been involved in EMS in Iowa for 12 years, having been an active member of IEMSA for over 8 years.  Linda was the original IEMSA representative for the state SEQIC Committee, and also serves as Iowa Regional Faculty for ACLS and PALS.

Lori Reeves
Southeast Region
 Lori is currently the Program Director for the Rural Health Education Partnership at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa. As such she is responsible for continuing education for all health and emergency services related professions. Lori also maintains a position as staff paramedic with ORMICS at Ottumwa Regional Health Center. She was previously the Coordinator of EMS Training at Indian Hills and has instructed EMS classes for 18 years. Lori has been a paramedic for 19 years and has BA degrees in Biology and Natural Science. She is a CCP and EMS Instructor and serves as AHA Regional faculty for ACLS and PALS and NAEMT Affiliate Faculty for AMLS & PHTLS.

Thomas Summitt
Southeast Region
 Tom has been involved in EMS for 28 years. He is employed by the Muscatine Fire Dept. as EMS Liaison/Ambulance Operations, and is a Paramedic-Specialist/Critical Care Paramedic and Firefighter II. Tom is also a certified ERT and Iowa EMS Instructor, and serves as deputy Medical Examiner for the Muscatine County Sheriffs Dept. Tom is the President of the Muscatine County EMS Association and immediate Past President of the Southeast Iowa EMS Council. Tom has also served on the Muscatine EMS committee and is a Past President and board member of the Muscatine-Louisa American Red Cross, and Great River Days board of director.

Tom’s sons, Andy and Jason are both involved in EMS. Another son, Matt, is deceased.
