Jeff Dumermuth

Jeff is serving his 7th year on the IEMSA board, he is currently certified by the State of Iowa as a Paramedic Specialist, is a Licensed Practical Nurse and has a BA in Public Administration. Jeff currently works for the City of West Des Moines where he holds the position of EMS Chief. Jeff is also Director of West EMS a collaborative administrative arrangement between The City of West Des Moines and Dallas County.
Jeff and his wife Kathy have two sons, Kyle-17 and Jared-13. Jeff also serves as the volunteer nursing director for the Mae E. Davis Free Medical Clinic in West Des Moines and is a Board Member for Free Clinics of Iowa..

Jon Petersen

Jon is a Lieutenant at West Des Moines Emergency Medical Services. Having been in EMS since 1989, Jon has worked in such diverse environments as Las Vegas, rural Iowa EMS and flight medicine. Jon is married and has one son, Austin (13). Away from EMS Jon enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting and golf.

Cherri Wright

Originally from Northern Idaho, Cherri currently lives in Indianola. She has over 12 years of EMS experience ranging from a rural basic service, private ambulance service and fire-based 911 service. She works part-time as a paramedic for Indianola Fire Department. She enjoys camping, fishing and spending vacation time at home in Idaho.
