The American Academy of Emergency Physicians has dedicated May 18-24, 2008 as EMS Week. EMS Week brings together local communities and medical personnel to publicize safety and honor the dedication of those who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services of medicine's "front line."
“Your Life is Our Mission” is this year’s theme, and I feel that it exemplifies the dedication and commitment by our emergency medical providers in Iowa. This commitment is evident in the personal devotion providers make to their communities 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
