What's Included
Booking your cabin as part of the Iowa EMS Cruise provides a host of additional amenities that are not available to the general public. All Iowa EMS Cruisers will receive a complimentary subscription to the EMS Cruisers News. This newsletter is published four times prior to the cruise and mailed to all lead cruisers as well as placed on-line. It contains all sorts of information to help you plan for the event including information on the ports of call, on-board cruise events, schedules, special offers and more. On the first or second evening of the cruise all EMS Cruisers are invited to attend the welcome aboard cocktail party. Reserved exclusively for our EMS group, you'll enjoy complimentary cocktails, soft drinks and hot and cold appetizers. Plus you'll be able to meet everyone else that is traveling on the EMS Cruise. We'll also host a final farewell party on the last night of the cruise that will also include complimentary food, drinks and prizes. A group photo will be taken during the cruise and offered for sale at reduced prices both on the ship and even greater discounts after returning home. You'll also be able to book your cruise and travel with complete confidence by using the services of the Iowa EMS Association staff as well as representatives from Magic Carpet Travel both prior to the cruise as well as throughout the event. We'll help you with anything that you need assistance with. Like all cruises, your booking also includes all meal functions on-board, juice, lemonade, coffee and other non-alcohol and non-soft drink beverages. All meals, award winning entertainment, onboard activities and accommodations are also included. There is no charge to go to shore, but various shore excursions are extra.

Air Selection
Your booking for the Iowa EMS Cruise does not include air fare. Many EMS Cruisers will book their own flights to Miami for one or two days prior to the ship's departure. Air is also available directly from Carnival, but is generally higher priced than stand alone air fare. Typically, anything below $300 is considered a good deal. If you can get air fare for $250 or less, we suggest you book it right away! For those who require assistance with their air travel arrangements, contact Magic Carpet Travel toll free at 1-800-776-7011. They will be glad to assist you with booking your flights to Miami for the cruise.

Pre-Cruise Options
The Iowa EMS Association has offered pre-cruise packages for many previous cruises. Because this information is not yet available, we are not able to provide any of the details or pricing. If you would like to receive pre-cruise package information when it becomes available, please be sure to check the appropriate box on the booking form.

Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of $25.00 per person is due at time of booking. This deposit is not refundable for any reason and cannot be applied to any other form of travel or merchandise.

Future and Final Payments
Second payments of $250 for the EMS Cruise were due by November 1, 2008. Final payments for the EMS Cruise will be due December 15, 2008. All Lead Cruisers have been sent an invoice detailing the current charges for the cruise. Final invoices were mailed on December 1, 2008. Anyone who has not completed their $250 payment has had their cabin released.
